Need MCS Safe Housing

by Lourdes Salvador

Q: I have chemical sensitivity and am desperately seeking safe and non-toxic housings so I can regain my health. Everywhere I go has pesticides, new paint, carpets, gas, and other problems. Are there any places designed for people like me?

A: Yes, there are some resources and housing developments designed for people with multiple chemical sensitivity.

I am looking into the feasibility of building Low Emission, Low Allergy housing for people with MCS. If you are interested either because you need housing, or you have experience of doing this, or have skills to help me do this, please get in touch.

  • Hi Nicki,

This sounds like a fantastic project for of us who suffer from environmentally-induced illnesses, as well as for the environment of course. I wish you all the success in the world with this and will pass on your message via the EiR Facebook and Twitter pages and through other channels, assuming this is ok with you?

Nici you need to reveal more of what you are doing and how you would accomplish this. Money materials property.
This seems like an impossibility for the ordinary individual.

People with chemical sensitivities in the Northeast need affordable housing too. I am being made very sick by the artificial scent from a neighbor's apartment and need to move. I don't know if I can find a safe place.
