I always write my posts as an email and then cut and paste it into EIR... I like the spell check in my email software better, and I've got a copy in case their is a problem posting.

no what am saying is that the website is malfunctioning! and very often I can't access it too.
once I finished my message and tried posting, it vanished but the previous message posted...
maybe because it's in UK or something but I have a hard time with this website...

Hi Dechen,
Sorry you're having problems posting. If you are spending a long time writing posts you need to do like bolam56 says and write your posts in email software or a simple text editor like Notepad in Windows and then paste into the form here.
The problem is you are taking longer to write your posts than the site allows a user to be logged in without any activity (which writing a post is perceived as). This is to save on server resources and you will find most sites log you out after a certain period of time - usually an hour like here on EIR. This is not a problem with the site it's just how websites generally work.
The site is experiencing some performance problems after moving to a new server but if a page doesn't load just click refresh in your browser and it will load if you give it enough time. I know it's annoying but I simply don't have the time to get it fixed at the moment as I have assignments coming out of my ears trying to finish my degree. It's not a 5 minute (or probably even 5 day) job to get the site running more smoothly.

I understand now maybe... Also just want to point out that sometimes, the EI website is just not accessible. So maybe it makes a difference in the number of people using it.
