Parasite test from Metametrix

#1 12 months ago
I got my results today from a parasite test from Metametrix - I had intestinal symptoms, swollen lymphnodes, cramps and bad pain in the guts for weeks and also, it was a way to check whether or not cryptosporidium was still there.

Well the results came - first no crypto anymore! Victory.

But then, I have two other parasites - one is Necator Americanus - a hookworm which is very easy to get rid of - thank god. Presumably got it from eating organic veggies - I make lovely salads with organic parsley and organic veggies - of course, if you don't have the pesticides, then you get the pest. Vegetables here are direct from south of the border - Mexico. Hence.

The lesson here is to soak organic vegetables in water mixed with hydrogen peroxide if you're going to eat them raw.

Then the second parasite is a "parasite of unknown taxonomy", probably a protozoa. Meaning that they haven't ever seen that kind of parasite. That guy was there two years ago on the previous Metametrix test I had done. At the time, we had focused only on cryptosporidium.

But it seems accordng to the doctor that I must have picked up a strange bug in SE Asia that may or may not be a human parasite. Huh.

So I'm concentrating on getting rid of the gringo worms and we'll see what symptoms linger.

No wonder I felt lethargic and drained of all life force.

And candida on top.

I love having you around Dechen, your use of language never fails to bring a smile to my face - "gringo worms" - love it!

Anyway, good to hear you are clear of the crypto. You had extensive treatment for that from what I remember? Not good news that you have the hookworm but I guess good that it is easily treatable. Let's hope that turns out to be the case.

You stole my thunder as I was going to say you should wash veggies in hydrogen peroxide but you're too smart, you already know! You guys in the US are pretty lucky as you can get all the hydrogen peroxide you need cheaply at the local store...a lot harder to find and more expensive here in the uk.

Anyway, good luck with the treatment and fingers crossed your next test comes back all clear. Keep us updated!
