I am a 27 year old male(turning 28 this November) having diagnosed with Autism, but more of a high functioning, Asperger's type range. For the past six years beginning in 2005, I have been struggling with the neurological symptoms such as electrical like or intensive pressure sensations on the left side of the head which can migrate to the right side that can sometime cause headache on the affected part. It is originated in the left temporal lobe of the brain, frequent eye twitching, weakness when walking, weight loss, loss of appetite, panic attacks(sometimes can be extreme). With each of the symptoms I am having, I am concerned that this could develop into something serious, such as a seizure even though I have undertaken various EEG, MRI and MRA exams throughout the past few years but did not detected any abnormal brain activity. In addition, I have made frequent vocal tics like grunting during the onset of the episodes that could be discomforting that I could not manage it and this could be disturbing to others around. That could trigger panic attacks as it can push up the adrenaline. Also I get nauseous every time I get those neurological symptoms for a short amount of time. I was wondering if any of the symptoms I am having is part of having Leaky Gut Syndrome and if so could having this disorder increase the risk of seizures?

Hello, I'm sorry to hear about your health problems but the culprit is MOLD. Mold can cause all of those problems and SEIZURES if you don't get things undercontrol. First you need to assess your environment....get a moisture meter and see what the humidity is...then get mold tests at your local hardware store and measure the mold on each level of living. The problem is moisture in your living space and that has to be addressed, or move! I'm in the midst of trying to move because my home is very toxic, I'm not sure what the best approach is....crosscontamination is real!

In the meantime you need to start on turmeric which will help tremendously...can be found in the spice island at the grocery store. It stops the mold in its track but take it with black pepper and olive oil. YOu can also use olive leaf and oregano oil, 100% pure on the bottle only! A good brand is NOW!

From what I have learned leaky gut is often related to autism, immune problems, malabsorption, brain fog, short term memory problems, focus issues, muscular and joint issues, skin issues and much much more. The leaky gut is created by dysbiosis, ( imbalance of intestinal flora also know as candida or Small intestine bacterial overgrowth.) Leaky gut happens when the candida take a foot hold in the intestines and grow roots into them making holes thereby allowing large protein molecules to find their way into the bloodstream from the intestines. Candida also blocks the body from absorbing nutrients from food. Candida gets a foothold with the use of antibiotics, too much stress, too much copper, too little fiber, too much sugar etc you get the picture.


This MAY be related to your situation as you state that the test you took show normal brain activity. Candida when overgrown creates some 70 toxins that infiltrate all the body organs and have negative effects on the body and the brain. Be sure to make sure that there are no brain problems before ignoring that and looking into other possibilities.

All of that is mold, but I forgot to mention borax baths with hydrogen peroxide and epson salts and raw organic coconut oil orally to control the seizures.... I had all of the above and now am just dealing with mcs....but am working on it!
