Hello all.
What a great site.
I have a story much like many of the rest of you.
I am struggling to find a Envir. med. doctor here in Ontario Canada.
I was dx with fibro in 2007 after many years struggling with pain and exhuastion. Then suffered hormonal problems which were dismissed. In Jan 2010 I got so sick I felt like I was poisoned. I then got a vaginal yeast infection that I still have 19months later.(getting someone to treat me here is crazy) I also was suffering more hormonal issues but was told I was too young (41 at the time)...needless to say, I had to get pretty sick and now am dx with Addison's disease...we believe secondary due to pit gland as I had a low HGH measurement in 2009...and I have read so many articles that I believe I have some sort of overgrowth and leaky gut but I am having a bugger of a time finding a doctor to test me or treat me...I have dropped 50lbs, had hair analysis that shows I am pretty much dead..lol and I have been on the diet for months with no luck...HELP..I have contacted a DR rona here in Toronto and wondered if anyone knows of this man???
Thank you to all for this wonderful place ....Matt great job...
I am sick of calling holistic doctors that really do not know what they are doing....so many willing to sell you stuff, but do not get the whole big picture...Sick of being sick.

Hi Dechen,
I seem to be in the same boat as you were all that time ago. I have mercury and lead posioning. I believe that you had caEDTA and DMPS via infusions. Did you have a leaky gut whilst chelating with IV's?. What about any adrenal problems Dechen. I have high cortisol and would consider the possibility of IV's "if" I'm unable to do the Cutler Protocol. How many infusions did you have over a course of full treatment Dechen. I know your considering more IV's soon, but I would love to know how many you've had. Did you have any negative effects from the IV's?. I've read so many negative views about this form of chelating treatment, especially from the DMPSBackfire site. I know that on that site their are a number of individuals who decieded to go for DMPS IV's with amalgams in their mouths, but others who didn't and often came out far worse than before with serious health issues due to re-distrubution of mercury. Did you have IV's everyday or spaced out 1 every month. Did those that treated you use low and slow dosing or did they go by wieight and height to administer IV therapy. Sorry for questioning you like this Dechen, but there's so many uncertainties with this sort of chelating therapy. Gald you've fully recovered though after that accident. Good to see such a beautiful lady back to full life and living everyday. J

Hi Bailey444,
I am in Canada too - on the west coast
Have you found a doctor yet?
I too had the same kind of symptoms when I was 41 (I'm now 51)
I am wondering if you have any amalgam fillings or have been tested for heavy metals.
This was "one" of my main issues.
All blood work and hormone testing through the MD came back negative. I eventually saw an ND and my hormones were the worse she'd ever seen.
As well, very high levels of mercury & lead, and lessor amounts of a couple of other metals.
It turns out I also had chemical injury and now have MCS.
I've gone through so much but am happy to report to finally be free of candida.
I believe it was linked to heavy metals.
I can really appreciate your being sick of calling holistic doctors that don't know what they are talking about - I share the same sentiment....it is very frustrating and expensive.
Being a member here is a really great place to be - support is so important - and there is lots of great information.
The online support groups are what has pulled me through and kept me sane.
I don't know if you know about the following web site - its called "Doctor's Ratings" I never see a doctor anymore without looking them up on this site.
If they get good reviews then I go.
I hope you find help soon -- take good care - Juniper
