Hi Curtscat & Welcome!
PPC is a highly refined and concentrated form of polyunsaturated Lecithin that contains nearly 50% DLPC (Dilinoleoylphosphatidylcholine), which is supposed to be the component of Lecithin that does the most good. Standard Lecithin is said to contain little DLPC, and even this is not well absorbed due to the other forms of PC competing/available for absorption.
I have also read on pro-lecithin web sites that you need to take a lot of lecithin pills to really get enough PC. They all recommend eating granular lecithin on/mixed with food, as the only practical way to get substantial amounts of PC into your body.
PhosChol also claims:
1: Soybeans are one of the most genetically modified foods man eats, and standard Lecithin contains these GM components in the end product.
2: There are no commercially available soybeans sold (in America at least) that are not GM soybeans.
and 3: The purification process they use to make PPC effectively filters out any detectable GM components from the PPC end product, and they have done tests to prove this.
Clinics who provide phospholipid Exchange Therapy (PLX) all use \"Essentiale Forte\" PPC I.V. (the only intravenous phospholipid media I have heard of) along with oral PPC for their patients.
I had actually taken Lecithin off and on at different times of my life and never really noticed a difference in my health (although I wasn't sick at the time). When I was sick and took PPC I really noticed a difference quite rapidly. The first time this had ever happened with a supplement. I took just 3 PPC per day when I was sick, and cut back to 1 or 2 a day now.
This is much easier for me, and it's not that expensive when you consider I cured myself with out expensive medical treatments at a clinic somewhere.

Thank-you for your reply, I really appreciate it.
I have a disfunctional liver and would be considered a pathological detoxifier. I have dermititis on my scalp that is caused by allergins because my liver is not detoxifing my body well enough. The dermititis has been going on for 10 years now. Along with being glutin free, dairy free, starch and sugar free, I'm hoping that PPC will help get my liver straightened out.
Thanks again.

Hi bolam56,
Just wondering if you are/were taking any other suppliments or doing any other treatment protocols when taking the PPC, or was it taking just the PPC that helped with your MCS? What was the dosage of PPC you were taking when you were having MCS symptoms?
Thanks,
Morbo
