Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for help to discharge my student loans. Can anyone recommend an attorney or government office that can help? I've already tried my local congresswoman's office, so I'm looking for someone on the federal level. I'm located in the US in California.
Does anyone have contact information for Mary Kempf? I read on her website that she had luck in this area (discharging student loans with MCS), but when I send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it (the contact info on the website), it's inactive.
I'm trying to get information on the kind of attorney she used or even the name of the attorney who helped her. Here's the article, but I'm not having much luck in the search that she links to in the article.

I have submitted all the information needed to the Department of Education, but they still refuse to grant the dismissal (stating that I still need to give information).
When I point out that I have already submitted the information their customer reps get bent out of shape and hang up the phone on me (that's why I got my local rep involved). The Department of Education has a document on MCS, but the customer relations is either ignoring it or have not been trained in it.
My congresswoman's office assigned me to one of her workers, but he stopped returning my calls so I'm at a dead end, runaround.
Any help would be appreciated.
