Recipes

Hi Maff,

Hope you're ok. I'm having a particularly bad hypoglycemic run at the moment and was thinking..would it be worth setting up a section of this website where people can post recipe/snack ideas for their various ailments/conditions. I can't tollerate wheat or dairy and that means whenever I do find recipe ideas, so many are out of bounds because they have cheese or wheat products in them!

Nutrition is the foundation for everything and as we all have such complex conditions, it means that what we eat is of upmost importance but not easy due to limitations and subsequently lack of inspiration.

If we could have a recipe section on here, we could all pool our ideas and share the food love!

Hi Abi,

I'm just about surviving the stress of recent website problems and workload of the final year of my degree in nutritional health. It's my first degree so the prospect of a dissertation is a little overwhelming - don't know where to start!

Very good idea about the recipes section and something I have actually thought about before. I agree it would be an excellent resource. I have to avoid gluten and dairy as well as maintain a low carb diet due to Candida/gut dysbiosis and hypoglycaemia so I know how limited and bland the menus of those such as us can get.

Unfortuately I don't have time to set a section like this up but hopefully come summer I will be able to do so along with a long overdue revamp of the site.

Thinking about it I could add a recipes section to the review section. That wouldn't take much time

Until then everyone is welcome to post recipes on the forums or in blog entries!

Thanks for the reminder Abi

Hey guys,

Great site maff and great idea about recipes abi. If a category for recipes could be added to the reviews section that would be really useful I think

Keep up the great work!
