Recently a scented billboard was put up in North Carolina USA. The following link is the only article I found that even mentioned environmental illness and the effects something like this could have on health. Of course the company who makes it deems it \"safe\", and there is no mention in the article of how those with asthma, mcs, etc do not experience \"safe\" chemicals as safe at all...

Wow thanks for posting this link. There does seem to be a trend at the moment to use scents as marketing and branding tools in every possible way. There is also a growing movement to bans fragrances on university/college campuses and in work places so it's a bit of a confused situation. I suspect the unfortunate reality is that things will remain voluntary for the foreseeable future and those of us who suffer from chemical sensitivities and/or asthma/allergies will have to look out for ourselves and continue to stay informed and steer clear of \"danger zones\"!
Thanks again for posting about this. Another eye-opener for sure.
