      you may find it is not only the cleaners but the carpet your reacting to . Some carpets are worse then others .Might try putting your face by it and seeing how you react . Also a hepa filter is so valuable with carpets ,keeps those little particles of stuff you cannot tolerate out of the air .

      Machaon -you asked about VOC free paint ,have you tried any? I still find them to be funky but they off gas fast and in several days all is well .Thats for me .You will be different .You will need to do a test .Safeco is a name of one company but there are many others .
