Hello
My wife has MCS. We have just been given 2 months notice to quit our rented home where we have been living for over 3 years (relatively safely)- so we niow need to find somewhere else \"safe\" to live very quickly. Can anybody advise, please:
1. Do you have any experience/knowledge of how (or IF)somebody with MCS could cope with an Oil Fired Central Heating system? (is it just a case of avoiding spillage around the oil tank, or is there more to it?)
2. Does anybody know where to get a list of things that MCS people should look out for when renting or buying a new home?
Thanks in anticipation
Alastair

I can't handle artificial heat at all. It sets off all my symptoms. Oil heat is usually the worst because it's not as clean as others. In a new place, definitely avoid carpet, fabric window treatments or blinds, chandeliers, anything that catches dust or odors. You may know all this already. I've also had to give up my collection of books. Good luck.
