Avoiding False Miracle Cures

#1 2 years, 3 months ago
Hi,

I've been battling with MCS for over 10 years. At the beginning of the illness, I wasted a lot of money on treatments that claimed to cure MCS. After spending several thousands of dollars, I wound up being sicker in the end because I didn't know about medical tests and treatments that would help me.

I want to make sure no one makes the same mistakes I did. I found an article that I hope will help others when making decisions about their medical care. I didn't see the article up anywhere on this site, so I wanted to post the link:

The False Promise of Miracle Cures for Multiple Chemical Sensitivity
Op-ed by contributor Linda Sepp and guest contributor Lourdes Salvador, MCS America.

Hi Airy,

Thanks for posting this link. I usually publish all of Lourdes' articles from MCS America on her column here at EIR but didn't get chance to put that one up.

It's an important issue and you are certainly not the only one to have spent thousands of Dollars, Pounds, Euros etc on treatments that have been promised as certain cures and have failed completely. Due to lack of research and understanding even treatments that do have some scientific backing (at least in theory) e.g. Dr. Martin Pall's protocol - cost a fortune.

It's important us canaries educate ourselves on what to look out for when considering treatments so we can avoid falling into the trap of believing claims and promises that don't stand up.

Hi all!

I'm from spain, and I want to make a question about \"miracle cures\".

Excuse me for my english...

My question:

well, a few weeks ago, a woman from my country who ensures that has MCS, FM, and ME/CFS, all with severe grade, she says that is being a healing using a Magnetotherapy machine, now back to using makeup, says that no longer needs to use the mask with activated carbon filters going shopping city, and much more incredible than I think.
When I see the top of all that this woman said, I thought it was the muscle aches that would ease the machine, so I believed her, but when I saw it said that the toxic, I already started to not believe anything....

A fact: these machines are sold by the sister of the woman \"miraculously healed\"

another fact: At least four machines were unsold, and are expensive...

what do you think about it??? in my country, when somthing isn't clear we say: \"That smell of bread Sucarrat\".

Thanks in advance for the answers!!

Hi Montseniana,

Can you provide us with a web link to information about this machine?

At the moment I agree with Airy entirely...it \"smells of bread Sucarrat!\"

Hi all! excuse me for my delay...

this is the machine, I didn't find it in english....the information is in spanish...

magnetoterapia.promo-clubnatura.com/msit...v6gKICFSJl4wodrnsVCw

this person, the miraculously cured, provide a machine with a CFS sick friend of mine for over 4 hours without any result.

After one week, the person who miraculously cured, was changed her name in the social network that we belong and erase all her contacts that have this diseases.

I think that this conduct is clearly revealing.....

thanks for your time and answers!!
