Hi Denise,
I tried ozone emitting air purifiers for my car and didnt get on with it. It wasnt the off gass from the equipment it was something else. .it aggrevated my airways it was likely to have been the ozone.
I am not sure other people may agree or not, but best to have a non ozone filtering system.
How is the new place . .btw ?
Do they do a roomaid in the states that is non ozone emitting?
Take Care

Hi both of you,
I would agree with Sarah that ozone generators are probably best avoided. If you have respiratory symptoms then ozone can aggravate inflammation of already sensitive airways. Not everyone with MCS has respiratory symptoms obviously but better to be safe than sorry.
I personally used an ozone generator when my MCS was at its worst and it didn't bother me but didn't help either. Air purifiers in general didn't help me in fact. The only thing that did help me was a carbon filter mask but some people certainly do seem to benefit. However, since good air purifiers are expensive I would try to borrow or rent one before buying.
Hope things are going well with the new house!

Is there such a thing to get fragrance and laundry soap smells out of the house? We bought a house to get off a main street and away from exhaust and moved into a house with smells. We painted with farrow & ball but smells still coming through and I am suffering.
