MCS & children

I’ve never considerate this issue before until last night. I woke up about 4am and suddenly I found myself thinking “oh my god! But what happen to those poor children who might be ill from MCS”? Could we imagine the hell children must be going through especially babies who cannot express themselves? I was in tears and trembling in middle of night just the thought of a baby could be suffering from MCS and continuing smelling all these chemical products surrounding him or her? It’s outrageous just thinking that a little and fragile being could suffer and not being understood?

I could picture a baby who seems and sounds always ill and out of energy crying no stop due to perfumes, make up, deodorant, washing powder that evaporating from his or her mammy? What about doctors and podiatrists that have no a clue about MCS trying all medications and experimentations they think of on poor children? I presume most doctors would declare these children as “abnormal” or perhaps being “retarded” or “psychologically deranged”? It’s more likely that doctors would drogue those children 24/24/7/7 in order to have them stop complaining and crying? What else?

This is really tragic that medical personal couldn’t diagnostic this illness. How could we inform and make sure women in general know about this syndrome especially the future mothers? According to some patients they have this multiple chemical sensibilities since their early age if that is so then some perhaps were born with it? It’s a possibility right? Most likely

The question is “how could we help and inform people in general as well as medical personnel”?

I work in a surgical woman's center and scrub C-sections all day.

First thing that happens when a new baby enters the world is, they have a vinyl oxygen mask slapped on their face... The mask and tubing are disposable and when I tear open the package to put a new mask and tubing on the incubator, the smell of freshly extruded vinyl is so strong it literally burns my nose.

I can only imagine how terrifying it is for a new born to have to huff the vapor coming off this fresh tubing.

The oxygen flowing through the tubing picks up all the vapor offgassing from the fresh vinyl and literally stinks up the room near the incubator.

Our kids are getting poisoned from the very first breath they take.

Very sad state of affairs.

Many thanks for your posting I appreciate this. It’s really sad so many things are going on in our societies unless we are touched by a problem we would not know about it. For instance I ordered twice PPC + DHEA via internet but every time they get lost or stolen so I assumed that Moroccan post most be unreliable.

Feeling so desperate decided to travel to France visiting my son and same time try to get these treatments. As soon as I arrived 3 weeks ago made order to be sent by International Express (which cost 37 Dollars) but it took me 3 weeks waiting to find out that package was arrived but empty.

I made a claim to company in US in meanwhile I went to city trying to find a shop selling supplements/vitamins/herbals but no one to be found. Naively I went to pharmacy asking where I could find one but lady before me looking at me as if I came from a strange planet and said: “there isn’t any dear in France we don’t allow any of those shops our laws here are very strict”. I knew how powerful pharmaceutical industry is especially in France but I did not think something has to do with my PPC and DHEA? However when I arrive home I plunged into internet and very quickly came across lot of critiques regarding all types of supplements but PPC and DHEA are definitely undesirable in this country now I came to believe that either the authorities at frontier took them away or the personal steal for selling them? It’s well known something which is expensive and forbidden there are always buyers somewhere waiting.

Anyway this morning I received finally my PPC could you please tell me how many did you take daily? How long it took to notice any improvement? And how many months did you take PPC?
