Dental nightmare

#1 1 year, 7 months ago
It started in 2003 with a sore throat that wouldn't go away and kept on changing . I experienced an A- Z of throat conditions and to make a long story short it was discovered that I had gold crowns deteriorating in my mouth due to my allergy to gold which were mixing with bacteria and causing all kinds of irritations and infections .
It was hell because I went a long time not knowing what was wrong with me . Before this happened I was not allergic to anything at all that I know of except a little bit of carpet dander .

Of all the really rotten things to be allergic to gold is probably one of the worst . Try convincing a dentist that you are allergic to gold in your mouth .

They simply aren't going to believe you!

So I had all the gold and other metals removed and replaced by porcelain jacket crowns and composite white fillings.

Well guess what . I am also allergic to ethyl acrylate. I had myself patch tested against these substances and came up clean. But now that I have so much exposure
Guess what is in most cosmetic dentistry ? Plasic monomers made of methy methacrylate , dimethyl methacrylate and a myriad of compounds that all have some sort of acrylate monomer in it.

I am now totally sensitised to my acrylate and can't even drink fluid from a plastic bottle without getting a reaction .

To make matters worse I am scheduled to have all these teeth out , which is a good thing finally. But then I need dentures and can't find a suitable material to make the denture out of .

I am in a big time pickle now.

I hope someone has some kind of an answer for me because the doctors are useless.
They simply don't understand the severity of what's happened to me.
