Just wondering how much we all have in common?
For many years I thought I had food allergies as I had terrible itching which would wake me up in the middle of the night (apparently your bod's natural cortisone is at rock bottom in the middle of the night so these symptoms involving histamine are likely to be worse then). I cut out more and more foods which were triggering it off. About 5 yrs after this started I was using red colour which appeared to make me groggy when using, but I thought nothing of it. Then I ate one of my 'banned' foods (sometimes I just couldn't resist, it was worth an itchy night), then used the hair dye and crashed into a shock episode.
Following that was 12 mo's of hell, very slowly calming down but didn't get my life back until I had my amalgams removed.
Symptoms were (and still are if I'm not careful)
Tightness in chest - like a heavy weight making breathing more difficult -painful when taking deep breath.
Tachycardia - heart rate suddenly taking off - usually waking me up in the middle of night, often starting with what felt like a bomb going off in my liver.
Itching all over, middle of night.
"electric" spasms & twitching middle of night when having bad symptoms.
Sleep apnea - when having a bad time with other symptoms.
Confusion - Hyper - it definitely affects my brain, I couldn't even punch out 999 on the phone pad at one point.
Puffy Eyes - sometimes just one eye would blow up!
Brain fog - really more like semi concussion.
Weak and shaky during the day most days.
Exercise causes exhaustion and depression & more severe symptoms at night, could only do 20 mins slow walk a day & sometimes that caused problems.
Even a gentle walk could start off all these symptoms.
Head pressure
Extremely itchy throat & pressure in throat
Fungal infections.

Nowadays, maybe 50% of my days I still have the night itching, weakness, brain fog and this strange 'punched' feeling in the area of my kidneys, I know the other symptoms will be back if I put a step wrong.. this thing has not gone away and is lurking around, and I STILL don't know what it is. But I'm wondering how many of these symptoms I share with others here??
