It's raining heavy out side, but what is much worse at this moment in time is the feeling of doom and gloom in my heart.

The word is that the FDA is telling people who have called their consumer hotline that they will be requiring natural thyroid drugs to go through the New Drug Application process. Well I've been taking the Nature-throid for 1 week now! I do seem a little bit more tired than when I was on Armour otherwise no side effects, I have 140 of the Armour tabs left so I am going to go back to taking them as from tomorrow, as they have a much earlier use by date! That should take me to beginning of Jan 2010, when I will review the Nature-throid situation.

They have changed the formula of Armour and it's making people ill, not working as good, apparently the new tablets are crumbly so when I get home from work to day I am going to see which they have sent me.

I have shed a stone now since being on Armour thyroid, I started taking it on the 21st of March 2009 so just over a pound per week, I have done nothing other change from Levothyroxine, and if anything I am eating more!
To you Doctors out there who promote Levothyroxine and other synthetic options only, I would ask you to please consider that some people can be violently intolerant of it, as I was!

Exactly the response I expected thanks for nothing! I am amazed at how much better I feel. I have more energy and I am even starting to slowly lose a few pounds. But I am still worried about all the people out there that still think they are just doomed.
