I have shed a stone now since being on Armour thyroid, I started taking it on the 21st of March 2009 so just over a pound per week, I have done nothing other change from Levothyroxine, and if anything I am eating more!
To you Doctors out there who promote Levothyroxine and other synthetic options only, I would ask you to please consider that some people can be violently intolerant of it, as I was!
To my fellow thyroid suffers I would say don't ever give up hope, your salvation may be just a little tablet away, I had over two years of Hell, living in a dark place with me hiding inside. I can see the blue skies now, the difficult times have helped me to understand better than before how rich and beautiful life is, and that so many things that one goes worrying about are of no importance whatsoever.
Now I feel great on Armour, I am almost back to my old self and life, at last is finally worth living again!

It's great to know other people have benefited from Armour!
I want the world to know that it’s the difference between day light and darkness! The Doctors out there should listen to how we feel not to stupid test results that mean very little if you still feel like death warmed up.

Glad you had a great time on your holidays! Thanks for the permission to copy and paste your posts to the review section. Unfortunately it won't let me post as you so I'm afraid you would have to do it yourself. If you get a minute once you have caught up with everything that would be great. Had I listen to the doctors and not researched Armour and then not gone ahead and tried it despite the pounding in my heart, and my head saying; ‘you'll die if you venture too far." I may well have died, not in death but the real me inside!
Be not afraid! Only when we risk going too far can we find out how far we can go, and I'v e come along way!
