The Environmental Illness Resource Blog from Sarahwineglass

Hi My name is Sarah I am 38 and have been suffereing with MCS for over a year. My story is unfortunately all too familiar, broken relationship, financial hardship, and housing difficulties. But here I will detail as much as possible my attempts to get well.

Thank you Maff for all the information on this website and to other sufferers for sharing their stories. Infact Matts recovery has driven me to find an answer even though it wont be the same as his.
A special thank you to Tony

Well its day 2 of gluten and dairy free and I have to admit I feel pretty awful shakey, feverish, head ache, indigestion, poor breathing, extremely swollen head painful muscles etc. But its different and have to say worse than the usual fuzzy headedness if am kept away from chemicals.

Last night I felt like an extra from train spotting going cold turkey, I had the most lucid nightmare and insomnia. . ..all this completely new to me and not very welcome I must say.

</...

This is my first attemp at a blog/blogging .. .. .however you want to describe it . . .so please bare with me

I have experienced all the highs but mostly lows of suffering with MCS. The feeling like you are going to die as our body slowly feels like its grinding to a halt and not being at all bothered or able to do anything about it, and even worse, willing it to happen to ease the pain. Being nursed through the hours of convulsions as the body reacts to something new...
