Welcome to The Environmental Illness Resource

 

The Environmental Illness Resource is an information resource and interactive community site for people suffering from a range of chronic illnesses which are poorly understood and for which there is currently very limited healthcare available. We have chosen to group these conditions under the title of 'Environmental Illnesses' and they include chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), fibromyalgia, multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS), and allergies. Detailed descriptions of all the illnesses we cover can be found in the 'Illness Overviews' menu.

 

 Information: Since these illnesses are poorly understood and conventional treatment options are so limited we feel it is vitally important for environmental illness sufferers to learn all they can about their own conditions and all the options that are available to improve their health. To this end we have a large article database full of articles written by doctors specializing in these conditions. We also bring you all the latest news on the illnesses themselves and new treatment options.

 

Community: Equally important is interaction with other people who are also dealing with these devastating illnesses. Currently some of the most useful information for regaining your health may well come from others who have been able to help themselves. To help foster this kind of communication we have forums, book reviews, product reviews, and blogs. All users can contribute to each of these sections once they have registered (free).
