Purchasing a Sauna
Ok, I've read up lots of information on sauna treatment and think, yep, I'll invest in a sauna. Then things get really confusing.
I hear from many that Heavenly Heat sauna's are fantastic. Then I'm told that their technology is old and outdated.
I'm told that Sunlighten Sauna's are good quality, yet they only offer a 5 or 7 year warranty.
There are hundred's of sauna firms out there all telling me why I shouldn't buy a particular sauna and why I should buy their sauna.
If you read this and have a sauna, would you let me know if you are happy with your sauna and why.
What brands are you investigating.
I've just started researching saunas and I've probably got the same questions as you.....but I might have some useful info.
I assume that you are looking for an infared sauna. Is this correct?
I've used a couple and they work exceedlingly well and much more pleasant than the conventional 'steam bath' variety.
Assumming this is the case, there are a few things to consider.
The 'wave length' of the infrared panels is very important. See excerpt from the net below
The costs vary enormously here in Australia.....so I'm looking for value......and being cautious!
Many are made in China and most look soundly built......but I'm cautious!!
Canadian hemlock seems to be the the timber of choice.
