What is Asthma? It is a chronic disease that causes breathing problems due to inflammation of the bronchial tubes. With asthma, follows asthma attacks which if not attended to can lead to the loss of someone’s life. Asthma itself does not have a known cure yet, but there are some methods one can use to control the condition. Exposures to allergens such as mold, pollen grains, mold, etc. often trigger asthmatic attacks.  During this kind of an allergic reaction, the bronchi became swollen and inflamed making the airways narrow hence the difficulty in breathing. As a result, there is a production of mucus on the tubes making it even more difficult to breathe.

2. Pollution

If you have asthma, it is recommended that you stay away from areas that might trigger an attack. These asthmatic attacks are not at any point pleasing as they cause pain and a lot of discomfort to the patient. Keep off from smoking areas, fumes and chemicals that can make you get an attack. 3. Medication and Exercise

In cases where you become sick of any other disease, ensure that you inform your doctor of your asthma before he gives you medicine. This will ensure that the medication he gives you does not trigger an asthmatic attack. When it comes to sports, asthmatic patients should not shy away from participating- instead, they should take precaution especially during cold weather. Also, if you are well aware of your condition, please ensure that you carry your inhaler to the field at all times.

4. Emotions

We all react differently to various situations. If you are an asthma patient, ensure that you control your emotions during any of the circumstances be it a happy moment or a sad one. For adults who are employed, ensure that you try as much as possible to avoid work-related stress so as not to trigger an asthmatic attack.
