Making the most of crop harvests with companion planting

Companion planting is an agricultural method that has been shown to improve crop growth, maximise space and reduce the spread of disease and pests. This organic process has been around for centuries and can reportedly also help to maintain soil balance and increase pollination — but the key is getting the correct combinations of seeds.

Planting the wrong fruit and vegetables side by side can be disastrous, which is why Suttons Seeds — an expert gardening company and vegetable seeds supplier — has created this infographic to help show which crops benefit one another and which can cause each other harm.
