Learn to Accept
Even with the best skills and experience, many social workers are forced to face failures on a regular basis. What they fully understand is that failure can be the only possible outcome in certain circumstances; it is simply inevitable and it needs to be accepted. You need to learn to accept failures too.
There is nothing wrong with failing. Failures often lead to new opportunities to explore. On top of that, failures are the best sources of experience; there is a lot to learn from the failures you have in life.
Learn to accept, and you won’t have to fear failure so much. The sooner you can accept things for what they are, the sooner you can understand the situation you are in and the less anxious you will feel.
One last thing to remember about dealing with anxiety is to be patient with the issue. Anxiety isn’t something you can solve overnight; I know because I’ve been there myself. Social workers work with the people they help for months – even years – in many cases. Some even become close friends and continue to support each other for life.
Open up and talk about your problems with the people you care about. Look around; there are a lot of them. Loved ones and close friends are your sources of strength. They help you be more patient in dealing with panic attacks and anxiety-related issues.
