Ways To Boost Your Mood

Whether it is due to circumstance, or you suffer from depression, there are lots of little things you can do to help you boost your mood. The internet is full of suggestions, tips, and ideas to do little things to perk you up, so we have compiled a list of our favourite suggestions that we hope will inspire you! Read on to find out more…

1. Win Some Money!
Have you tried online casinos? 2. Start a Journal
Have you heard of bullet journaling? It is a mix between art, design, and writing your own diary. Why not be creative and draw, write lists, make charts, and write about the things that happen in your day to day life. Not only is it a great form of therapy but it will also help you to track your moods and various factors that might affect them. 3. Try a New Form of Exercise
Everyone knows that a bit of exercise makes everyone feel better. Ok, finding the motivation to get up and do it, might be the tough bit, but once you force yourself, we guarantee you will love it. Being active, releases endorphins into your blood stream, which make you feel happy and euphoric. Exercise in any form has been scientifically proven to increase your mood, help combat depression, and make you feel better in every way! It doesn’t even have to be something strenuous- just going for walks, gentle swimming, or something like yoga, is enough to get the blood pumping and increase your mood for the better.

4. Have a Cuddle!
Another scientific fact for you, cuddling or hugging someone is proven to cheer you up. Again, the same endorphins are released which make you feel happy. We don’t advise that you hug a stranger but perhaps a friend, family member, or significant other can help you lighten your mood.

These are just a couple of things that are guaranteed to help improve your day. In fact, we recommend that you try all three within a short timeframe to see how much it improves your demeanour and overall mood!
