Ok everyone ... I have always been the oddball for my doctors and it looks like I have to do more research on my own. Thanks to the fact that my memory has become awful I have forgotten where I have placed my medical file. I guess to start with I need to find out if there are others out there right now that have been gven this diagnosis. I am just starting treatment. I tried metformin 500 mg 2x a day for 6 days but the side effects were awful. The doctor placed me on a 150 carb a day diet. I am currently on the diet but am waiting for the metformin effects to wear off and be"normal" for 5 days and then I will start on glucosophate release tablets. 500mg 2x a day. At this point I am afraid that this has something more to do with pituitary or adrenal glands being damaged or something else and just can't put my finger on it. I'll explain more later and more than likely I will be on here late at night after the kids go to bed. Thanks so much.
