I am still waiting for my Nature-throid to arrive but just to let you know of the information I have found at:  http://rlclabs.com/aboutUs.asp

RLC Labs, Inc supply Nature-ThroidTM, and claim that they provide the only hypoallergenic medication with a history of safety, efficacy, and consistent T3 and T4 content unmatched by anyone in the industry.

I can not wait to try it, if it works as good as the old Armour did I'll be happy but I have a feeling it may be better as RLC concentrate of providing thyroid care! Check out their web site for yourself.  If any one has tried it I would love to hear your views.  Denise

  • Hi Tina Glad to know something is working must be the T3 you've not had for so long. I was thinking of taking T3 on it's own but then read they have also made a synthetic version and I'd prefer to get the natural stuff, so not sure that I would now, unless Matt knows of a brand name for the natural stuff? Hope I get a good nights sleep tonight Yawn...... Denise

  • Hi Denise! I finally got the results of my bloods back on friday.
My tft test came back at 171, they said that is good almost in the middle. (apparently it should be somewhere between o.1 and 400)so the armour must be working even tho' its the new one. I will be trying the naturethroid when I next need to order medication. I hope it doesn't keep you awake too much and you get used to it, just goes to show tho' it has obviously speeded up your metabolism. The only other thing that cropped up in my blood tests was my glucose levels are up,(I had fasted b4 the test for 14hrs also) and my colesterol, so I have to see my gp next monday, dont know what he is going to suggest, maybe a more healthy diet/ (although i regard my diet to be very healthy). Hope you had a good weekend, I went to a barbie on saturday, and chilled sunday. it was such nice weather shame its changed. take care. tina

  • Hi Tina Hope you are still following this blog I have read something very interesting There is a very common symptom called 'white coat hypertensions' where patients don't give true readings at their Doctor's. It's best if you take your own reading to get a true rate because you really need to be relaxed! You also need to take a pulse reading to get a true picture. Hope this helps Denise

  • Hi Tina
Sorry to hear that. Please don't give up hope! You took that Levothyroxine poison for years! It is more than possible that your adrenals have been damaged as a result, if so you would need as course of Cytomel to address this problem. Sorry I don't know where you can go to get help with this but I would ask to have your adrenals checked. I have learned so much, but I am also so very angry. People with this disease don't look ill, so we suffer in silence. Levothyroxine causes so may other problems that I wouldn't take it now under any circumstances, also please remember you got some of the new formulated Armour so you never got a true picture of how good it can get. I feel wonderful! I wish you could see the difference in me now from five months ago, but, big sigh...
According to Mary's site Armour is now unavailable. How strange there should be an abundance of it now as everybody is getting sick on the new formula and switching to something else. I think Forest know there's a problem with it!
Armour gave me back my life! I hope, fingers crossed that Nature-throid works, but I will never go back to Levo-hell, no way, they would have to force feed me it. I felt like death warmed up and now I feel so alive, yet I am so disillusioned. It all comes down to BIG PHARMA and making a profit, we don't count Tina! Please don't take any of those other drugs, the side effects out way any benefits. Take care Denise

  • Hi denise! sorry not responded earlier, but after I saw the osteopath, he did a lot of manipulation on my neck and head, I am feeling better, but then he asked me about my health in general, I told him I have an underactive thyroid, he took my blood pressure, and it was (in his words dangerously low) 65 over 57! he said I had to see my Gp asap, because he suspects that mabe the thyroid is really not doing its job.......went to my gp (mine not there, saw locum) he sent me for blood tests for thyroid, liver, and sugar, had to fast for 14 hrs. I took my blood pressure a few times since and it was 85 over 60. when the gp took it it was 115 over 65, typical! so he says that is normal. anyway I am just hoping that by taking the Armour it has not buggered my system up lol! although I do feel better. have lost 5lbs in weight etc. the gp thinks I have labrythinitus, which affects the balance of the inner ear, and gave me some meds, stemitil, which just make you tired and drowsey, so I am Not taking that! took it some years ago when I had an attack of vertigo and it didn't work. oh well lets see what happens when these bloods come back. will let you know. take care.Tina.....still looking for answers!!!!

  • Hi Matt Seems box might be full again!
    Hi Tina
Not sure if you got my message earlier? In response to your comment on the other blog?
ItĂƒÂ¢Ă¢â€šÂ¬Ă¢â€žÂ¢s a case of trial and error. Before this illness I never took any drugs or medicines of any kind. I am a big believer in pressure points and natural options, I hadnĂƒÂ¢Ă¢â€šÂ¬Ă¢â€žÂ¢t been to the Doctor since the birth of my youngest and after my experiences over the last couple of years I really do think they are a waste of time. Only treating the symptoms and not the cause, and worse of all thinking they control you, by making you reach some stupid number on a pointless not even valid scale before treating you.
I always make my headaches go away by massaging my temples. I never take pain killers since I learned they can loose you your memory and only suppress your pain! The Osteopath if nothing else should be a relaxing experience, I also wonder could it be a food triggering your vertigo?
I have been considering doing yoga, but if not done correctly I wonder can it do you more harm than good. ItĂƒÂ¢Ă¢â€šÂ¬Ă¢â€žÂ¢s a minefield, but as I feel so much better on the old Armour, I am sure there are more answers out there. Just need to find ĂƒÂ¢Ă¢â€šÂ¬Ă‹Å“em! Fingers crossed Denise

  • One of the biggest losses of function in T3 deficit is life itself, don't take my word for it google Dr Lowe
Synthetic T4 should not an option on its own! The Nhs are killing us. We must not let them! Natural desicated thyroid is best! Denise
