Accomplishment Step By Step Leads to Inspiration!
Whether it is beginning a business, decorating the house for the holidays or walking down the street, at some point in the game you set a goal. This means that you visualize where you would like to go and what it takes to get there.
What happens when we fall short of our goal? When things do not work out like we had planned? Or when obstacles fall into our path? How many of us give up, feel doomed or depressed and stop believing in our dreams? Are you the type of person that keeps going, taking each failure in stride?
“Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
The Body Ecology principle of Step By Step tells us that perfection does not happen overnight. In fact, to accomplish anything great, it takes diligence, focus and a daily affirmation of your goal. This doesn’t have to be stressful. The principle of Step By Step tells us that there is a great deal to learn and appreciate about our bodies as we near our own personal health goal.
The Body Ecology principle of Uniqueness tells us that each body has its own requirements and limitations. Not only that, but our bodies are constantly changing throughout our lives. This is why we all find health, vitality and joy in our own unique way as we continue to strive for it. When you recognize that health is not a cookie-cutter ideal, you can see the specific details of who you are and what you need.
Seeing your goal become a reality takes focus, drive, determination and fluidity. And what happens when we accomplish our goal? We often feel satisfied and sense of success because, whether our goal is small or large, there is a bit of magic in seeing your dream become a reality. This type of accomplishment also inspires us.
To get anywhere in life, it seems that this is the best attitude to take in all things. After all, obstacles and moments of failure will pop up in any situation. The trick to success and seeing your goal become a reality is to find something worthwhile in these challenges.
Maybe you find it difficult to let go of a certain food that you know is not good for you. For many people, sugar is the single most addictive and destructive substance that blocks them from reaching optimal health and the life they want. Letting go of sugar habits can sometimes be a long process. Get methodical and detailed in your pursuit of total health.
- Each time you eat sugar, notice how it makes you feel.
- Keep a Sugar Log, a notebook describing the emotions and body sensations that you feel hours and days after eating sugar.
- Let this Log be unbiased.
- Feel determined to understand the truth of your own body and health.
Each step, whether hard or easy, takes you one step closer to your ultimate success. Believe it. And believe in yourself.
