Rejuvenate your Health and that Youthful Glow with Digestive Enzymes – the *Sparks of Life*

by Gloria Gilbère, N.D., D.A.Hom., PhD.

Research shows that digestive enzymes are not only important for digestion – every action and reaction within the body is dependent on them; they literally ignite the processes that sustain life itself. Without them, life is incapable of existing, period – enzymes are “life energy”, the essential *Sparks of Life*!

Imagine the body being like a new automobile with a high-speed engine under the hood. As years go by, the once new battery that “sparks” it into action is now exhausted from years of demands draining its life-energy – its reserve can no longer ignite the processes to start the engine.

As we age, our enzyme bank is naturally depleted – the production of natural enzymes in the stomach, pancreas and small intestine declines as early as age 30. Our body continues to perform, although sometimes with a sputter, and we make excuses about not recharging our enzyme reserves until our internal systems break down and we can no longer “jump-start” our engine.

Each enzyme has a specific job to assist in digestion and overall health. Proper utilization of nutrients and vitamins cannot possibly occur without the presence of enzymes, so when enzyme reserves are depleted, the body goes into a state of mal-absorption and premature aging. In addition to aiding digestion, enzymes assist the body in healing from infections, help to maintain healthy blood, process iron, and carry oxygen throughout the body to nourish the billions of skin, tissue, and brain cells.

Natural enzymes occur in raw fruits and vegetables. Cooking and processing procedures destroys enzymes – we are a generation starved for enzymes! This enzyme depletion is so evident in the millions of chronic disorders like fibromyalgia, arthritis, food and environmental allergies, colon and prostate cancers, skin disorders and premature aging, as well as candida and parasite infestations. In fact, at present, 80 million Americans are diagnosed with digestive disorders.

Lack of enzymes contributes to:

  • Poor digestion/absorption/indigestion/belching
  • Dry, parched skin and loss of elasticity
  • Decreased energy/general malaise/unexplained fatigue
  • Headaches
  • Constipation
  • Yeast/health-depleting bacteria

Disorders involving pain and inflammation are rarely connected to a lack of enzymes and the body’s ability to process what is consumed. In addition they ignite the recovery from inflammatory responses and are an important part of cell rejuvenation.

The accumulation of undigested food from enzyme deficiency, metabolic waste, and putrefied matter in the intestinal tract overburdens the liver and the secondary circulatory system, the lymphatics. This contributes to toxic overload and accelerated aging.

Re-Charge Your Battery – Build Your Supply of Enzymes

The good news: we now have the option of taking preventive measures to keep our enzyme reserves plentiful by supplementing with a complex of full-spectrum digestive enzymes and diet modification.

Body Rejuvenation Protocol:

1. Eat as many raw vegetables or juices as possible.

2. Get plenty of restorative sleep.

3. After the age of 40, or if under excessive stress or suffer from a chronic condition, supplement with a full spectrum digestive enzyme that contains:
a. Enzymes for digesting: fats, carbohydrates, fiber, grains, seeds, legumes, fruits, vegetables, components of milk (lactose and protein) and soy

4. Take a vegetarian fiber supplement daily to continually reduce the intestinal toxic load of the large intestine, liver and lymphatics.

What is the most effective way to take digestive enzymes?

Swallow one capsule after a couple bites of food. Then swallow an additional one either in the middle or at the end of the meal. This assures a type of “time-released” action.

Celebrate your independence from digestive problems and premature aging, start taking digestive enzymes today and add back that *Spark of Life!*, naturally.

Gloria makes it easy for her clients and customers to carry their digestive enzymes with them wherever they go. Visit www.gloriagilbere.com, order two bottles of any of the variety of professional digestive enzymes and receive a free enzyme tin (just like the one she uses).
