The University of Louisville in Kentucky has made a new discovery within the brains of autistic individuals. Dr. Manuel Casanova is the doctor who made the discovery. The portion of the brain that is affected I believe is the right side of the brain. They will begin trials as early as this year. It will be some sort of magnetic treatment to that portion of the brain. I don't remember alot of the technical jargon, but it gave me cold chills to think that finally a breakthrough may be being made. The story appeared on my local TV station news tonight. There are many doctors going to the University of Louisville to see the work that Dr. Casanova has done. The doctor spoke about it and stated that he should make it easier for the autistic person to relate with others. It is not a cure, but it appears to be a promising treatment until a cure can be found.
