Hi
This is my first time using this facility. I am suffering from a general food intolerance, and can eat only meat or fish and carrots. I have attended numerous doctors and have undergone all possible general health tests. The medical advice received says that I am imagining the problems as the condition as I describe does not exist in medicine. The condition started about two years ago and gradually got worse. The symptoms include; headaches, lack of concentration, foggy brain, aches and pains. I would very much appreciate any help or advice as I have exhausted all the medical possibilities.

Hi Jerry,
This is not really my area, except to say I was down to about 6 foods at one point, but at the same time I was aware that chems in my environment were also a prob and my whole system was in a state of hyper-reaction to food, exercise, chems, meds. I also had more variety of reactions, apart from the ones you mention. I now have a diagnosis of MCAD, but my big steps forward were removing chems from my environment & having amalgams removed - not sure if that will work for you of course. I had an excellent nutritionist & we worked our way thru a variety of tests. You could try the Brakespear Group www.breakspearmedical.com ,I have been recommended them several times. If you are in the US there is a whole body set up for alt.med but we had a computer crash last week & I've lost the link. Try asking on Planet Thrive - they will have a link there. There are countless conditions that are not yet "in the books" - its lazy & arrogant to tell you you are making this up. Who would put themselves thru that kind of nightmare? If everything about everything were already 'written in the books' we wouldn't be needing more research, all those boffs could pack up and go home cos gee we already know it all!

Hi Jason
My health problem seems to be Mast Cell Activation Disorder (MCAD). I still do not have diagnosis confirmed. Travelling to UK this week to get blood tests taken. Have to wait 4 weeks for results. My health problems are triggered by food intake. I reduced my diet to meat, fish and carrots only, which eliminated the adverse side effects. The only liquid I can take is Evian mineral water.

Hi Jerry,

Okay, seems exciting to get the blood tests. Which blood test gives you the diagnosis of MCAD confirmed?
What happens when you take any other liquid?

I have read about MCAD before and i thought i have that as well. I do suffer from MCS and i think the mast cells plays a big role in it.
