Hi all, My 27 year old son Zach has been suffering for over a year from a myriad of symptoms that seem to have come out of nowhere. His chief complaint is of a feeling of a blockage in his lower intestine which is constant. All GI tests prove no blockage. He has chronic constipation that can't be resolved with enemas (water can't get past the "blockage" from the other end) and cognitive issues that are severe enough that he has had to move back home - sometimes seems like mild dementia. He has been told he likely has LYME (and is seeing a LLMD) but all tests prove negative. He has severe reactions to drinking out of a water bottles, trying to use the Invisalign trays he paid 5K for, hair spray, deodorant, etc. All of the above cause instant and long lasting (3 hr - 2 days) gut tightening, heart racing, severe gut pain, disorientation...

We are in search of physicians in the Maryland/DC and even PA areas who might be able to shed some light. Do they exist? We have no idea where to turn. He has been seeing the LYME guy for about 6 months with only minimal improvement in cognitive function and no improvement in gut or chemical sensitivity. He is college educated and now can't even read a book!!! ANY suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!
