Five things to match in getting rapport in NLP

Discussion started by Maff 6 years ago
In establishing rapport in NLP it is important to recognise a person will be communicating through both spoken language (words and their tonality) and body language (their physiology). The words people use (and how they use them) are in fact of least importance in getting rapport. Of more significance are the tonality of their speech and to an even greater degree their physiology.
As such, things important to match to establish rapport include:
  1. Posture
  2. Facial expressions & blinking
  3. Breathing
  4. Tone of speech (pitch)
  5. Key Words
