Yes, some of this is rather more technical than my level of expertise would allow me to completely understand, but I follow the general drift, and have to say it is a fascinating article. It certainly fits with my growing understanding that there is a powerful connection between gut dysbiosis and mental functioning. Makes sense of a lot of mysteries. Can't wait for other scientific and medical researchers to get on board with this model of understanding!

I have only come across Amy Yasko's work in terms of genomics, methylation and autism before but clearly her breadth of knowledge is as great as its depth in any one area. To tie together gut dysbiosis, biofilms, toxic metals, genomics, and nervous system dysfunction in one paper is quite brilliant. Definitely one to keep as a favourite...
