My boyfriend and I have been living in an Apt in Hollywood for over 4months now and have been very ill-It started with headaches, exhaustion, mood swings and skin problems. About 2 months we started throwing up and having unexplained pain and diarrhea on a daily basis. My symptoms have been worst than his, maybe because I am allergic to Penicillin, but I have extreme sensitivity to light, sound, smell and constant ringing in my ears, anorexia has set in and I feel as though the room (or car) is spinning. Two months ago we opened a contaminated AC/Heat unit and found lots of mold, so we hired a professional air test done to see what we had been breathing. The levels of Penicillin/Aspergillus were 1527 spores/m3 and Stachybotrys (black mold) was 520 spore/m3. Mold inspector said it could be why we are so sick. The ER and clinic turned us away saying mold wont make you sick. We both do not have insurance and have spent a lot of money on hotels and getting out of the apt. Our clothes, artwork and furniture is covered in mold and we can't keep anything. We really need a doctor who will test us and is not too expensive. Does anyone know of any Cali doctors/labs etc that may help? Thank You! Tanya*
